A gathering for those who tune

The Tuners Retreat is made for practitioners and students alike — people who are ready to do this work together in community, held in an astounding landscape.

This is all about community — growing together, expanding your skillset, and finally getting to experience the work you give to others on your own body, in person, nourished in nature.

An open high desert sky. The Sangre de Cristo mountains at your back. Geothermal waters rising up from the earth. We'll be held in a wild landscape open for transformation — between the mountains, supported by the waters.

Our four days together will hold integrative movement sessions, diversified sound healing, and intentional workshops — with organic meals shared throughout together. You'll receive tuning daily while learning how to deepen how you work with sound and the body in brand new ways.

Please join us for the inaugural Tuners Retreat.

Daily Movement & Yoga

Daily morning practices to ground into the body and begin each day rooted in yourself before the day unfolds.

Tuning & Peer Sessions

Enjoy giving and receiving daily with your forks. Attune your skills, and receive lots of direct on-the-body work from your peers throughout our days together.

Daily Sound Healing

Daily integrative sound baths for all to receive — gongs, singing bowls, and other instruments, including our own voices. Integrative sound from skilled practitioners.

Hot Springs Soaking

Unlimited access to Joyful Journey's geothermal mineral pools — ancient water rising from the earth, the best kind of integration.

Fresh Organic Meals

Simple, nourishing meals — breakfast, lunch, and dinner — all prepared fresh and organic, served on-site.

Into the wilds of
Colorado

The San Luis Valley is different. Spacious, expansive, wide open skies. Ringed by the Rocky Mountains, sitting at 7,700 feet — it has a quality of stillness that is rare and real. Spending days in the valley itself is a reset. Add geothermal mineral pools, the last golden aspens of the season, star-flooded November skies, and crisp high-desert air, and you have a location that does profound work just by being what it is. Add in our community, and voilà — we can't wait to welcome you.

Joyful Journey Hot Springs has held retreats, gatherings, and seekers for decades — a true refuge far from the buzz of city life. It will hold this gathering beautifully.

This is Colorado's wildness, away from the noise and crowds — open land, dark skies, and space to simply be.

Learn from our facilitators

This retreat is designed to expand your skillset and deepen your practice — from mindset work to tangible, on-the-body fascia awareness. You'll leave with deeper knowledge, built in community.

Jillian Faldmo
The Empowered Entrepreneur Workshop

A strategic, embodied workshop for practitioners building or growing their own practice. Jillian draws on her background as a trained life coach and former Director of Training for Biofield Tuning to guide you through the mindset shifts, business foundations, and practical next steps to keep your momentum going long after the retreat ends — so you leave not just inspired, but equipped.

Matt Faldmo
The Sonic Somatic Method™: Where Vibration Meets the Body

In this hands-on workshop, you'll experience a completely new approach to tuning fork application grounded in nervous system science, fascial anatomy, and proprioceptive reconnection. You'll learn how vibration travels through bone and fascia to re-map the brain's relationship with the body, and why conscious participation transforms a session from passive treatment into active reconnection. Instruction is woven together with guided practice, so you don't just learn the technique — you experience it firsthand, leaving with tools you can immediately bring into your own work.

Marielle Vira
Embodied Herbalism & Plant Meditation

Receive from the plants themselves. Marielle will offer embodied herbalism throughout the weekend, sharing wildcrafted medicines of the Rockies to deepen your connection to this time and place. A guided plant meditation journey is offered to help you hone in to listening from the plants — similar to how we listen to the field, but learning from the green ones themselves. Pure plant magic, and how to support your clients with the same.

Holly Celestine
TRE & Nervous System Recalibration

TRE (Tension & Trauma Releasing Exercises) uses a series of simple, body-based exercises to activate the body's natural shaking reflex — releasing deep muscular tension and helping the nervous system settle out of chronic stress patterns. Holly guides you through the foundational TRE sequence and how it complements tuning fork work, since both speak directly to the nervous system: helping the body move out of bracing and tension and back into a felt sense of safety and calm.

Good things
to know

Do I need to be a Biofield Tuning practitioner to attend?
This retreat is designed specifically for practitioners and students of this work — people who are already in the practice and ready to deepen it together. We'll be using tuning forks on one another, so some foundational training is part of what makes this container safe and rich for everyone.
When should I arrive and depart?
Arrival is Monday, November 16, anytime after 3pm — with our welcome gathering at 5pm. Departure is Thursday, November 19, by 11am. The closest airports are Colorado Springs (COS, about 2.5 hours) and Denver International (DEN, about 3.5 hours). You'll need a rental car to reach Joyful Journey — we'll share carpool coordination closer to the date for anyone who'd like to share a ride.
What's included in my ticket?
All accommodation, breakfast, lunch and dinner daily, all workshops and circles, unlimited hot springs access throughout the retreat, and complimentary professional photography to support your practice.
What are my payment options?
Pay in full by July 17 and save $75 — that's our early bird offer. After that, we offer 2- and 3-part payment plans with a $350 deposit to hold your spot and full payment due by September 16 (60 days before the retreat). A processing fee applies to payment plans ($25 for 2-part, $50 for 3-part). We ask for full payment by September 16 so we can confirm all logistics well ahead of time.
What is the cancellation policy?
If you cancel your participation for any reason, your deposit and any payments already made are non-refundable, though they are transferable to another eligible participant with organizer approval. If we ever need to cancel the retreat itself, you'll receive a full refund of every payment you've made. Once the retreat has begun, no refunds are offered for any reason, including early departure.

What to bring

A more detailed packing list will be sent closer to the gathering. For now, just bring:

Your tuning forks
A swim suit
An open heart
Cozy clothes & layers

If you'd like to bring more sound healing tools — amazing.

Colorado can get chilly in November — perfect for soaking!
